Engineering plastics are highly durable and can withstand high heat, do not rust, and require no lubrication.

Engineering plastics are highly durable and can withstand high heat, do not rust, and require no lubrication. By replacing wear parts such as bearings, bushings, liners, slides or similar with engineering plastics, the maintenance cost is reduced and reliability is increased.

Sheaves of plastic

Wire’s life is increased 2 – 6 times while the weight of the pulley system decreases, which is a great advantage in mobile cranes.

Track belt of plastic

Lower machine weight results in lower surface pressure preventing the peat harvester not to sink into the peat.

Bearing segment in a rolling mill

Weight reduction of 7 times = about 85%.
Requires no lubrication and maintenance costs have been reduced significantly.

Elevator buckets

By replacing metal elevator buckets with plastic such as Nylatron® GSM or Nylatron® 6M, the weight and thus energy consumption is reduced. Furthermore, it contributes to a noise-free environment and extension of the product life of the buckets. Elevator buckets can be used for a wide range of different applications and are offered in unfilled Polyamide or with fillers depending on the application and the contents the elevator buckets are to transport. We offer elevator buckets with hole patterns for easy mounting on belts etc.
