  • Can be used at 310º C continuously in air (500ºC for a short time).
  • Maintains strength and rigidity in a wide temperature range.
  • Very low coefficient of longitudinal expansion.
  • Excellent durability.
  • Good electrical insulator.
  • Low degassing in vacuum.
  • Very resistant to degradation caused by gamma and X-rays.

Duratron CU60 PBI plastic offers the highest heat resistance and mechanical property retention over 400°F of any unfilled plastic. These and other characteristics make it ideal for contact seals and insulator bushings in plastic production and molding equipment.
