Duratron CU60 PBI – specific properties

Duratron CU60 PBI plastic offers the highest heat resistance and mechanical property retention over 400°F of any unfilled plastic. These and other characteristics make it ideal for contact seals and insulator bushings in plastic production and molding equipment. Therefore this type of plastic is most commonly used as replacement of metal and ceramics in mainly:

  • bearings
  • gaskets
  • valve seats
  • rollers
  • wheels
  • high-temperature insulators.

CU60 PBI plastic is used mainly in the aerospace industry.
