The key to success
The core of Carlsson & Möller’s Lean Production is a customer-centric approach, where every step of the process aligns with the needs of our clients. We eliminate any activities that don’t directly add value to streamline operations for maximum efficiency. This focus has significantly improved our flexibility and fostered continuous enhancements in our ability to serve customers. As a result, we’ve reduced lead times and made daily operations faster and more efficient, creating benefits for all parties involved.
The journey to becoming a leading provider of construction plastics
Carlsson & Möller was founded in 1948 in Bjärnum. Since then, we’ve grown to become one of the most respected suppliers of plastics in Sweden. From the outset, our focus on customer satisfaction and reliability has been the cornerstone of our success, establishing us as a strong player in the market for plastic components and engineering plastics.
In 1976, we moved our operations from Bjärnum to Helsingborg, where we expanded into the distribution of both thermosetting and thermoplastic materials, while also launching our own machining services. A key turning point came in 1983 when we secured the agency for thermoplastics from the then Polypenco, now Mitsubishi Chemical Group. This partnership granted us access to new materials and renowned brands such as Nylatron, Fluorosint, and Torlon, as well as advanced techniques in molding and sintering.
In 1986, the company moved into its newly built premises in Helsingborg. Since then, we have continuously invested in machinery to strengthen our position as a leading supplier of engineering plastics in the market.
Part of Indutrade
In the early 1980s, Carlsson & Möller became part of the Indutrade Group. This helped us to even better meet customers' needs for system and engineering solutions, as well as technical expertise.
The Indutrade Group encompasses over 250 subsidiaries in more than 30 countries across six continents. Indutrade is listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
