Silikon SI

The dimensionally stable, white silicone plastic is structured using glass-fabric-based silicone. This type of plastic is highly weather-resistant and is advantageously used outdoors, not infrequently in electrical components. Silicone plastic has good colouring possibilities.

SI GC 202

Silicone glass cloth laminate (SI GC) belongs to the thermosetting plastic family and contains silicone resin. SI GC (Silicone Glass Cloth) has excellent dielectric properties, a low dissipation factor, high arc resistance, and low moisture absorption. The material is well-suited for elevated operating temperatures and is also flame-retardant to UL 94 V0.

We offer several different qualities of SI GC, for example SI GC 202 (G7) according to NEMA.

Silicone glass fabric laminates (SI GC) can withstand temperatures up to and exceeding 200°C.
