Industry

Engineering plastics have high wear resistance, can withstand high temperatures, are corrosion-resistant, and require no lubrication. By replacing wear components such as bearings, bushings, liners, sliding tracks, and similar parts with engineering plastics, maintenance costs and wear can be reduced, while operational reliability is increased. In heavy industry, this includes sectors with large machines and facilities, such as steelworks, mines, port facilities, process industries, and similar operations.

Sheaves of plastic

The lifespan of the wire is significantly increased, while the weight of the rope package is reduced, which is a major advantage in most cranes.

The recommended material is a highly durable all-round material with excellent outdoor properties and can be offered with various fillers depending on the type of application. Fillers can include oil, PE wax, industrial wax, molybdenum disulfide, glass, etc. For pulley wheels, we offer a special material, Nylatron GSM, which is approved by Det Norske Veritas for lifting equipment.

Weight reduction of 7 times = about 85%. Requires no lubrication and maintenance costs have been reduced significantly.
