- High dimensional stability.
- Withstands temperatures continuously up to + 150 ° C.
- Withstands continuous -50ºC in low temperature applications.
- High resistance to the influence of gamma and X-rays.
- High resistance to decomposition in hot steam (sterilization).
- Resistant to acids, bases, alkali compounds, salts, detergents, oils and alcohols.
- Good electrical properties.
- Slowly attacked by strong oxidizing acids.
- A variety of organic solvents such as acetone, ethyl acetate, and carbon tetrachloride can cause cracking.
- Unsuitable for abrasive applications.
